These cups snap together in two pieces. Photos or anything printed off your printer are ideal for inserting into your personalized mug. Personalized mugs are a great craft for kids and adults. You can create special edition mugs for promotions, as a school art project, or they can be given as gifts to grandparents with the grandchildrens picture printed inside!!
This tutorial is not meant to be purchased. Feel free to print and use this page as a reference.
Step 1
Design your print. The size of the insert for the mug is 10" wide by 3 1/2" high. You can make two prints per piece of paper
Step 2
Print the work. For mug inserts, we like to use photo quality coated paper. We sell a professional grade of presentation paper for this purpose.
Step 3
Now cut the prints off the sheet. Scissors work fine but an inexpensive paper cutter does an excellent job for this. Note the tab we left on the print. This is in order to have an overlap on the print so the print is full color all the way around the mug.
Step 4
To insert the print, simply curl it and place it in the mug. You want to place it so the seam of the print lines up along the mug handle.
Step 5
Now your done! Be sure to read below for additional handling instructions
If you wish to change the insert, simply place your hand on the mug as shown and remove the liner.
We do not recommend washing these mugs in a dishwasher. We recommend you wash or rinse them in a sink. HINT: As an added measure, you can run a bead of silicon around the rim of the mug before assembly.
