Money Pad Supplies

1st you want to design an insert to fit the checkbook cover you have choosen to use in this project. I used MS Publisher. Open up a sign or blank document. Make a sqaure on the page to fit the size of your checkbook cover. Then make your cover design with in this area. You will be cutting on the lines of the square you made, so stay with in the lines.

Print you image out on your printer. Any printer will work.

Cut you chipboard to fit the size of a dollar bill. Place one piece of chipboard in front and in back of the stack of $1.00 bills you are going to use. Sandwich the $1.00 billsbetween the chipboard.

Place the stack of chipboard and $1.00 bills in the pad vice as showen above. Center and place at edge of vice. Thighten pad vice. Be sure the edge of the chipboard and $1.00 bills that the padding cement is applied to,is flush with the edge of the pad vise.

Paint the padding cement on the edge of the stack of chipboard and $1.00 bills. Do not worry aboutthe padding cement getting on the pad vice once it dries it peals right off the plastic pad vise.

Let dry and paint on a 2nd coat. Let this dry a few hours. Then take the money pad out of the pad vise. Peal off any "extra" padding cement from the money pad.

Place the cover that you have designed in the checkbook cover. Now you are ready to slip in the money pad.

All done! Now just open, tear and SPEND!! This make a NEAT GIFT!!! The kids love them!!
