Foil Pen

Steps to using the foil pen. Using this item is very straight forward and really does not require a tutorial. We will, however, demonstrate a technique where a graphic in a card is highlighted with heat transfer foil
 
Step 1

Select the layout of the card and choose the graphic. We are using a bunny with a ribbon around its neck. Print the card twice, so you now have 2 separate sheets. Print one on the cardstock you are using and the second on a plain sheet of paper.

Step 2

We are going to highlight the ribbon around the rabbits neck in foil. Tape the foil over the graphic on the card.

Step 3

The plain paper print is now placed directly over the cardstock print and foil. You may want to paper clip them together.
This will look as follows:

  • The card is on the bottom.
  • The foil is on the cardstock, shiny side up.
  • The plain paper print is on top.
    • Step 4

    Now, with the hot stamping foil pen, I traced over the bunnies ribbon and filled in the ribbon area.

    TIP: Move the pen slowly and use even pressure
